MRARA Data Protection Policy (28/06/18)
The Madingley Road Area Residents Association (MRARA) was established to give residents along Madingley Road a voice in local matters and a means of communicating and socialising with each other.
The MRARA undertakes to ensure personal information is treated in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR (EU) 2016/679 and subsequent revisions thereof. We only hold data necessary for recording and communicating with our membership; typically a name and email address. Street addresses may be noted to ensure that a member household is within the MRARA catchment. Data is stored safely and securely. The Chair, Treasurer and Secretary have access to membership information.
The MRARA will not share personal information with any third parties unless members have agreed explicitly that their details may be shared, for example by signing a petition.
If you would like to know what information is held, please write to the Secretary enquiries@mrara.org. A member’s information will be deleted when they inform the MRARA they wish to end their membership.
