Who is Eligible for Membership
The MRARA extends along Madingley Road from Northampton Street to the east to just beyond Landsdowne Road to the west. All residents, property owners, University Colleges and long-term tenants (2 years and more) in the area are eligible for membership if they are aged eighteen years or over. Residents may be members of more than one residents association if where they live is included in more than one designated area.
Membership
We welcome new members from the area. There is one formal meeting a year, usually followed by a summer party. Other meetings are held as needed, for example to reply to GCP consultations and carry out surveys of cycle and pedestrian traffic.
Please join using the sign-up form here:
This will add you directly to our mailing list, which is used to let members know about upcoming meetings and local events. You can choose not to receive emails at any time.
Constitution
The constitution and the map of the MRARA area can be found here: http://www.mrara.org/index.php/about/
Subscription
There is a nominal subscription set at £15 per household or organisation. We want to be able demonstrate to third parties the number of households who have formally joined MRARA as members, and hope that the fee level will not be a barrier to joining.
Should the subscription be problematic for whatever reason, please contact us directly at enquiries@mrara.org. Donations from members may be invited from time to time to cover extraordinary expenditure. Such donations are welcomed, but are voluntary.
Payment details will be sent on completion of the membership sign-up form.
